Our 68 has very noticable red overspray on the glove box and dash. Is there any thing that will take this off without harming the plastic on the dash?
If we decide to re-finish the metal protion of the dash/glovebox, what type paint should we use? and is it difficult to match a factory look? I've seen some that have been repainted and look.....well they look like they have been repainted. What did the factory use?

Thanx!
Dwayne

Try a good spray on bug/tar remover,it usually works for me,depending how on how long the overspray has been there. For painting metal dashes,I've used low gloss black spraybombs before with very good results, just use good paint, like Krylon.

Try using detailing clay. Mcguiars sells a clay product. It works on clearcoat. I don't know about plastic??
