i am recovering my buckets i purchased new foam, i replaced the burlap and padding my question is the two indents or slits in the foam is where my seat covering gets hog ringed down to the wire on the seat, it looks like you would have to actually cut the foam in the slit to be able to hog ring the fabric rope from the seat covering to the seat bottom, also do you have do this first or last any help would be appreciated thanks les

Sem.. you can cut the foam but try not to go all the way through or just make cuts where you are gonna hog ring. This keeps the foam intact. 3 or 4 hog rings, spaced out, on each wire should be enough.Lay the cover on the seat with the sides, front and back folded up and the center flat on the seat. Hog ring the wire to the seat and then fold the sides, front, etc. down and attach...
Good luck
