How do you remove the clear plastic face from the
instrument panel? It looks like my '69SS has plastic studs that are melted down holding it in.
It looks like these studs need to be cut off but then how do you re-fasten the face?

The plastic lens on both my cars popped off the studs with a little prying with a small screwdriver. If that doesn't work you can melt the plastic around the tabs with a soldering gun.
To replace the lens, place it on the tabs. Then melt the tabs again to hold it tight..
