I have a 64 chevelle. At 25-30 mph my speedo sceams. Is there an easy quick fix ?

Very slim chance that if you get up behind the speedo, disconnect the cable a give the turning collar on the back of it a couple shots of light oil, it will fix it if the bushing is dry. Sometimes the turning cup inside the speedo is making contact with the magnetic center piece and that is pretty much unrepairable that I know of.

If the oil trick doesn't work, and you don't want to mess with it yourself, theres a speedometer shop over in Concord (45 minutes from SF). Its called Speed-O-Tack. When I checked them out a couple of years ago they wanted $125.00 to remove and repair. Call info for 925 area code and you can get there number.
I removed the speedometer assembly from my 64 and took the whole thing apart. Cleaned and lubed everything, put it back in and it still works great. Mine didn't make alot of noise, it just didn't work at all
Kragen has new speedometer cable assemblies for $11.00 bucks (part #CA-3002)
