To anyone that doubts the quality of the Flowmaster aluminized dual exhaust kit they make for chevelles, I have a short story:

Three years ago, I installed the Flowmaster kit on my 71 Olds Cutlass. Almost a year ago, I sold the car and the moron I sold it too wrecked it. I offered him a few bucks and got my new tires and wheels, GT steering wheel, and flowmaster exhaust back. Today I went over there and removed the exhaust. It came off like I put it on yesterday. Within 3 hours my dad and I installed it on his SS. There was hardly a spec of rust on the pipes, and this was after 3 hard New York winters.

So if you're in the market for an exhaust system, go for the Flowmaster setup. You'll be happy. Besides, when was the last time you removed an exhaust system without a hack saw/sawzall/torch and with minimal bad language? Today was the first time for me.

I concur. I have the same kit on my car. Also my truck has a 2 chamber single muffler. That thing has been thru it all. My truck is a 4x4, and I am sure anything else would have fallen apart by now. Of course the one on my truck is stained with mud and crud from 4wheeling. But it is still together after 65,000 miles of abuse.

I have never heard of a Flowmaster falling apart. And they sound so nice!
