I have a 66 Chevlle. Looking for a good quality set of headers for my car. Running a 355 - 4-speed. I want a set of ceramic headers that have good clearance. 1 5/8 tubes

Jeg's or Summit Dynomax w/Jethot Coating at around $210. Specify angle or straight plugs in your heads. Get a good set of Felpro header gaskets with the wire in them and put a thin film of HI-Temp silicone gasket material between the gasket and the head.
The headers will hang about an inch below the bottom of a stock oil pan.
Look at my website.

Check out Sanderson Headers www.sandersonheaders.com (http://www.sandersonheaders.com) they seem to have a grip on quality headers. I have a set to be delivered end of this week http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I just got the new Summit catalog in the mail yesterday and in the "New Products" area, I noticed Thorley headers. I've heard really good things about them, but I have no experience myself. Dynomax would be a great choice for you as well.

Thorleys are great headers. I have some Jet-Hot coated ones on my big block that I couldn't be happier with. The only problem is cost - they were about $550 total.

I need some now for my '69 Camaro and am thinking about getting the Dynomax ones but am not sure of their quality. These will be on a daily driver.

Hey CUSH

If you order from Summit make sure they send you the right headers for your car. About a week ago i got a pair of Headman Tork Step headers from them and they were the wrong ones. I sent them back got my money back.My car is a 66 malibu with a 327.

I have a set of the walker dynomax ceramic coated on my 66 327. IMO exellent quality and fit and still look good after 4 years. only about 4000 miles though. its a nice weather driver only.I highly recommend them. My .02
