Hi all,

I am going to have my seats in my '70 recovered soon, and I will have new foam installed. My question is, how thick and what kind of foam(s) do I need to get for this?

I would think the upholstery shop would determin the thickness, unless you make a special request. I know they make hi-density foam for boat cushions. Generally boat seats don’t have springs. Probably would give you an over stuffed appearance.

Webfoot check americancushionind.com and see if they have an application for bench seats. They make the correct thickness seat foam and can be purchased at NPD and the Paddock.
