I have a 4L60 that I am installing and I am getting many different stories about the setup of the TV cable. Any Info would help. Thanks@!!

Just make sure the distance from the center of the throttle shaft to the pivot hole for the cable is the same distance on your carb, as the distance for the cable on a fuel injected engine's throttle body, or you will have serious problems trying to figure out why the trans doesn't work right.

FI throttle shaft to pull peg distance is different from carb shaft to pivot hole, just make an adapter and you'll end up OK with it.

Once you get the distance correct, adjust the cable as per instructions in the transmission section of the factory service manual.

Try going to this page http://Chevelles.net/links/Resources/Technical/more2.html and then find the link to "The Drive Train Page"

It worked for me.
