I was wondering if it is possible to change the color of the seat belt straps? I need some old seat belts for my chevelle but can never find the right color.

Can you buy a package of color dye for clothes and dye the seat belts the same way??

I also noticed that there are two different sizes of seat belts. One type is your regular seat belt and another type is much thinner, as far as the metal belt mechanism. Do 1970 Chevelles have only the wide belts or a combination of the two?
