The name of the manufacter is the American Boss Company in Camarillo, Calif.(805)388-6800.www.americanboss.com. It was orginaly aired on shade Tree Mechanic. It was installed on a Shelby Cobra replcia.. If I remember correctly it is made to fit aftermarket wheels only. It is made of hardned steel. It locks to drive and when you park you unlock it, at the column with a round cylinder key and the wheel disengages and just spins freely. They told me that they were working on another design that might fit other designs. I haven't talked to them in a least a year. Let us know what you find out.
