Anybody have a pic of one?
In particular did they use a slide plate like in 69 or was it some sort of a rubber seal?
Thanks

I don't have a picture, but maybe I can explain what is on the 70 Chevelle. There is no slide plate. There is a boot for the shift handle that attaches to the "hump" and is visible, Ground Up part #ICE-5356. There is a plastic surround called a "shifter tunnel", Ground Up part #NJ-1105 that goes from console's square opening down to the hump.

I was under the impression that the "hump" was only used if you were installing a 4 spd floor shifter without the console ? I am getting ready to do this myself , Hurst Comp with a console. You say I will need to weld in the "hump" and use the tunnel under the new console ?
thanx

John [/QB]John, There are two different 4 speed humps one W/O console and one W/console. I don't have a pic but basically the hump for the console has a narrow opening for the shifter opposed to a square opening for the non console application. This allows the console to fit correctly.
Was your car automatic originally?
