I don't know about you, but my ducting for my dash vents was pretty brital and non conforming. It's poort fitting made for a loss in air flow.

I noticed a pretty cool replacement idea while at Walmart. Don't dismiss it yet, it only gets better. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif

It's just 3" accordian like tubing with sealable ends right?? Well, I came across what they call "RV sewage dump hose". It's the same stuff, but nicer. It's plastic with steel rings every centimeter or so and has clampable ends. Comes in different lengths and is only about $2.00 per foot.

this is something even the show judges wont see http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif well, maybe http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif

If you have a Pep Boys around, they have replacement duct in various diameters. The sewage line is probably too stiff for routing to some of the vents, particularly in an air car. You also might be able to see it's lighter color on through the vents.

Good Luck!

I used the Pep Boys approach. On the '71 there's only one large hose needed, from the center "Y" to the passenger side vent, over/behind the glove box. Mine has two vents under the dash that I used smaller aluminum duct for, the stuff used for heat riser to air cleaner connection. You can cut it easily, and when you stretch it out it fits quite nicely. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
