I have found a LS-6 70ss chevelle with a replacement block can any tell me what CE053023 stands for? I'am looking at purchasing this car it has the protecto plate and build sheet thanks PatG

I'm not sure how to decode the numbers, but CE prefix means "counter exchange" so I'm assuming this replacement block was installed when the car was fairly new.
