Does anyone have a combination for removing the glove box lock on a '69? The outer portion on my lock (chrome or stainless piece) is missing. I do have a complete lock from a '68 that I could use if I can figure out to remove/reinstall the chrome piece without tearing it up. Ideas? Thanks...

Gene's link is the "killer app" when it comes to the glove box lock change. It should be made into a "Tech Reference" topic here. By the way, how many of you actually have gloves in that thing?
