I had no problem removing it, but getting the rear seat cushion to re-attach to the base is a pain. Does anyone have any tricks or techniques? It's a '67 Malibu sport coupe.

It should go back in easier than it came out. Did you add anything under the seat that is causing it to not slide back in???
or blocking it from sliding backwards?

The seat slides into position just fine. i thought maybe the back cusion had slipped down but it hasn't. I heard that it's tricky to get the little wire fingers to get started onto the anchors in the floor. I just can't get it to catch. There must be a trick. I don't think any back seat passengers will find it funny that the're sitting on a glider rocker.
