I have a triple AutoGauge under my dash now. The stock sending unit for the oil pressure (brass fitting, tube) are leaking http://www.chevelles.com/forum/mad.gif When I installed it, I had to do some mild grunt work to get the tube to slide in the nipple. It was a poor design. I love the gauges, however!

I want to replace the sending unit. I also want to go with the higher tube size. I believe I have the 1/8", whereas I would like the next size bigger. [is that 1/4"?]

Is there someone who makes better sending units??

** it's going beside the distributor on my SB, so plenty of room.

72,
I have never had a problem with the copper lines. I do know that if you overtighten them, they can leak. Also, if you have the tube "stretched" too tight, it will leak. I always put about a 3" diameter loop in the line right near the back of the motor, sort of like brake lines, to allow for movement in the motor, expansion, etc.
If you want a real nice job, get the Autometer braided line kit. It is bigger (about 1/4" line) and much nicer looking. Probably more durable in the long run.
