Hi Folks,

I think the door panels on my 69 most likely are re-production. The question that I have is regarding how the tops of them clip to the two ajustable metal pieces. The lip on my door panels does not have a hook type of detail that it would need to be held in place by those two ajustable metal pieces. I hope this makes sense  Any idears ?
Thanks, Gaz graemlins/waving.gif

There are no clips. The curved metal rail simply sets over the adjustable brackets. The brackets should be adjusted so tht the felt strip snugs up against the glass.

Thanks, and Roger that, I have them ajusted to where the felts are doing their job, but without the underside of the tops of the door panels, or the vertical piece or strip that resides along the two metal ajustable pieces on the door, the tops of the door panels want to raise when you raise the windows. This is anoying that every time I raise my windows, :( I need to push down on the top of the door panels to get them into the right position again. I'm all ears for thoughts and ideas, Anyone ? Thanks, Gaz

check the top rails, there should be two recessed areas that work as latches in collaboration with the same on your door shell to prevent lifting when rolling up your window. make sure these are properly seating on doors or havent been broken off. hope this helps. jason
