Two questions ....

1) is there a trick to removing the glass from the doors on a 69 coupe? I need to replace the window felts, and the glass must be removed. I removed the nuts that bolted the glass to the "scissor tray". but the glass seems to long to lift out of the door.

2) the other question is about redoing the seats. I have new covers and foam. I have removed the old covers and the old foam. now there is this burlap liner with some sort of wool covering on it. Does this stay or should it be removed?

Ed...You don't have to remove the glass to replace the window felt. You just loosen the stop bolts so the glass will crank down below the screws that hold the window felt in. Look at what stops the glass when it's cranked down and remove them. Then the glass will go low enough to do the job...

The burlap should stay. It helps protect the foam from rubbing on the springs and tearing...

Thanks, I was trying to find this "stop" today .... I gotta be a dummy - can you give me clue as where to look?? I had flash lights and all .... can't quite figure out where the "stop" is.

Thanks for the advice and the help!
