I just got my new dash put together and am in the process of wiring my car again. I have wired the front park lamps, headlights, and front signals, but have yet to do the rear end. I am curious to know if the body harness contains all the needed wires for the rear. I have located the light and dark green, and yellow. These are presumed to be the stop/turn lamps leads and the reverse lamps lead. If correct, is the rear park lamp lead in that same harness? and what color would it be? Is the tan wire in that harness the lead to the fuel level sender? I measured the resistance on the tan wire for the heck of it and came up with 95 ohms from wire to chassis ground. For the life of me, I can not remember how much gas is in the car. There are other leads in the harness as well, white, orange, yellow/blk stripe, and I think there might be one more, not sure. What do these other wires do? I am desperate to get this car street legal for the weekend- please help!!!!
Thanks!

Thats what my Chiltons said, too, but I couldn't find the brown wire. But then I figured if the book says so, and then someone else says the same thing, then the car is the one thats wrong, right? So, I looked closer at the harness and found that the brown wire got ripped out during the old dash-ectomy. That's what got me confused about the whole deal. I didn't want to go powering up lines and torching the car just because it seemed like the right set of wires, and missing that wire made me wonder if it was the correct harness. Anyway...
Got it all working now, thanks for the help!
Will be posting pics of my new dash on my web page soon.
