Hello,

I'm pretty new to the chevelle scene. I just purchased a 1964 chevelle malibu SS. When time (read money) permits, I would like to change or restore the ceiling padding material. The original is in fair condition, but has many moldy old spots and is tearing at the seams in a couple of spots too. Can you help me?

Thanks in advance,

Well let me be the first to welcome you to the fun of Chevelles! There are lots of catalogs you can get to check out many items. If you have a copy of Super Chevy, you'll see many of them listed. Hang out at this site long enough, and you'll learn just about everything you could want to know about them. Again...WELCOME graemlins/waving.gif

Well, many thanx.

That's great! Where can I find these catalogs?
Also, since this is the right place to be in, are there any schematics for the electrical wiring?

I've noticed that the reverse light cables leading to the actual bulbs (when touched slightly) cause the bulbs to turn off. I might want to replace the exisiting wires to the signals, interior lighting and whatever else is "loose".

You know, I'm liking it here!

many of them can be sent to you with a simple phone call to the particular company. You can also get to many of them on line. Year One, Original Parts Group, Ground Up, Danchuck, just to name a few. I suggest you also purchase an assembly manual, as it is LOADED with info -- including some wiring diagrams. Might even think about the grandaddy of all chevelle shows this summer in Nashville. June 3, 4, 5. Have you heard of it? Nothing quite like it.
