CBUYS Sep 10th, 99, 10:39 AM I am rebuilding a 350 and I have come across 2 threaded bolt hole that I can't identify one is on the side of the block directly above the oil filter and the other is 6 inches away towards the front of the engine. they both are 1/2 coarse threads if this helps. can anyone tell me what these are for? Thanks for the help Clark Sep 10th, 99, 10:43 AM CBUYS The hole above the filter I believe is used to mount your clutch linkage. The other hole I'm not sure about. Both of those holes are unused on my car. I have a 350 with a TH350 automatic. ------------------ Clark TC #68 Ft. That's where the ball stud goes for the clutch cross shaft (commonly called the "Z-bar"). Which hole depends on application.
