Hey guys getting ready to order interior for my 64 SS convertable. Need some recommendations. I have been buying most of my parts from OPG and they carry the PUi interior. I also saw a special on speed vision about this company, they look very good. The one specifice question I had is about the door panels, Do they come ready to snap on or do I have to have some work done on them. Any help or experience would be helpful.
thanks

I bought the PUI front/rear door panels for my '69 convertible. They came with the metal top rail and all I had to do was hang them and put the screws in...These were "pre-assembled" panels, meaning no additional work needed before hanging. I bought mine form NPD...I think you'll find the consensus here is PUI is probably the best out there.
If they say pre-assembled, you're fine, if not, then I believe you will have to transer parts, like the top rail, window felts, etc...
Hope this helps.

Depends on the year ..... if you are fussy then for example on a 66 do not get the preassembled buy the regular ones and transfer or buy new trim pieces as the trim on the preassembled is not quites as good a fit and quality FWIW

I ordered some door panels too, but mine I had to take my existing rails and get them pressed back on to the new door panels. But, you have to make your own skrew holes, unless you use the pins. Very good interior from PUI though.

64's dont have a top rail, so dont sweat it. 64's also have a diffrent grain pattern that 65-up cars so the options are limited because most dont make the 64's. PUI makes a good product. Find your best price and service and go to town.

I am thinking of changing the interior on my '72 from dark green to white. I have been looking at the different parts houses on line and none seem to offer a "complete" package. Does anyone know of a supplier that offers a complete package including door panels, seats, visors, arm rests and dash pad as a set?
Also, if the car is dark green and the interior is white, what color should the dash pad be? I think it should be dark green, but if I knew what I was talking about, I wouldn't be asking :D
Thanks,
Glenn
