OK folks bear with me on this but I'm drawing a blank.
I have a 72 chevelle with a 4 spoke steering wheel. Under the steering wheel is a plastic assembly that holds the horn button and spring. What do you call that assembly? Mine is broken, leaving me with no horn. Thanks!

I believe it's called a Cancel Cam.

On the 4 spoke wheel, there is a metal retaining cup that bolts to the inset on the steering wheel and holds the horn insert. These items are included in a kit from Year One (cause that's the catalog I have at work) called "Horn Parts Kit" (P/N RU609 $26.95)which includes the contact, contact spring, contact bushing, spring plate, cup, screws and 3 prong bushing. The vinyl cover is attached to a "Horn Button Cap Retainer" (P/N 8999 $3.25).
The turn signal cancel cam is underneath the steering wheel and lock plate.

If you do not mind used parts, you can these from Chevettes, Camaros and firebirds. Should be pretty cheap at the salvage yards.
By the way, the Camaro has a pretty close looking 4 spoke wheel that you could use in your car if your wheel is looking old. Bought one for less than $10 with the horn stuff on it.

Kevin,
If this is the circular, plastic part with 3 holes for screws, Chev calls it a bushing. And if it is part number 764402 (and I am sure it is) it is still available from chev.

Thanks folks. Its the white plastic piece that you push and turn the button into. I think DZauto has it. Thanks for the help!
