I have a 68 Chevelle and I was wondering what new model seats would fit in it. I was thinking about doing bucket Monte Carlo SS or Impala SS seats. Can anyone help me out and let me know what it would take. Any info would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Oh yea, if anyone has done something similar, let me know what it was and if it worked well. Thanks.

you can make any seats fit.you will most likely have to make your own mounts for them, but most any seat will fit.
i have 86 Z28 buckets in my 71. i had to make my own mounting brackets, but it wasnt hard at all. and they look great in it. see link in sig for pics.

thanks man.
naw it wasnt hard at all. all i did was, take some 1/2" bolts, and got my seat as straight as possible, and where i wanted it, and then drilled holes in the floor, and fastened them bolt to the floor with a nut and washer from underneth, and on the top as well. and to mount the seat i did the same thing, so the seat is adjustable up and down, and it can be tiled anyway as well. sorry for the rough explanation, but its easier to show how i did it than explain. HAHA.

I'm 19 now, got the car when I was 16.
I installed factory buckets and after purchasing cheap brackets i discovered I could make them fit better just stacking some small spacers under the low spots... graemlins/clonk.gif
