My brother-in-law purchased a few years ago a 68 chevelle with the 396/375hp motor. One thing that I felt was really special about the car was that it also had lights on the fender that had three small lights in side a chrome housing that faced back toward the windshield. And in the back, built into the interior molding was two red lights that lit up when the brakes were applied. My question is does anyone have any idea how many of the 68 SS or plain Malibus came with this option.
He sold the car to dealer out west, and said he saw it in a magazine for sale again not to long ago, so I don't have any idea where it might be now. But if I could find out exactly how rare this car was, I could really rub it in that he sold it, because all of us that was around the car and worked on the car said at the time he was CRAZY.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
