Are the letters on the shift indicator white or green?

I'll harbor a guess that they're green. But, I don't know for sure.

This should be an easy question? You have a fifty fifty chance fo getting it correct. smile.gif I have seen pictures with the green. It just seems strange because the rest of the lettering in the car is white. I currently have white, but I'm not sure if anyone in the past has changed it. Thanks for you help.

I've tried 5 or 6 different vendors and NONE of the have the same font on the lettering as my original. If it wasn't so beat up I'd use it instead of a repop. I have a repop in there now, and to me its obviously WRONG. The real one has more delicate lettering and is a slightly lighter shade of green. Plus none of the replacements fit the housing correctly out of the bag.

Try Year One. I had the same problem when I was looking for a new lens for my previous 69. So many of the ones I saw look like they went to the hardware store and got stick-on Mailbox letters to use on the lenses. Lettering was way too 'thick' and block-like. The one I got from Year One was perfect graemlins/thumbsup.gif A word of caution - this was a few years ago, so I hope Year One hasn't switched suppliers or something by now....
