I'm wondering if anyone can hook me up with a pic of a shifter handle for a tilt column(being the tilt column is column shift) I have a non tilt one but of cource it doesn't fit and I would like to see what I need to be looking for.
Thanks guys!

Edit: This is out of a 72 Chevelle.

What do you mean by it not fitting? I just changed out my tilt column for a non-tilt column. I had a couple of small fitup problems, but was easily fixed.

Just the shifter for the column shift isn't fitting. I hear its a different one from the non tilt to the tilt wheel.
Curious, why did you go from tilt to non-tilt?

The person who owned the car before me destroyed the column removing the shifter. It turned into a double tilt column. The tilt still worked, but I was also able to move the column up and down a couple inches without pulling the tilt lever. One day while I was in a junk yard I came across a non-tilt that was in good condition, so I figured for the a temporary fix until I can get a new tilt column that the non-tilt will work.
As for the shifter not fitting, sorry, I can't help with that. I have a floor shift so I didn't have to deal with that.

I just put a '71 Olds tilt into my '71 Chevelle and the end of the shifter that goes into the column is shaped different. I thought that it was and Olds/ Chevy thing, it never occured to me that it was tilt vs non. The tip on the non tilt is sharper, the tilt is more rounded. I couldn't make mine fit either :(
