I want to convert my 65 chevelle/malibu bench seat to buckets and a console.
I have the console but need the buckets.

Besides the seats(which I can't seem to find)and brackets, is there any other parts need to install the seats?

Also, if anyone is interested in trading their buckets for a bench seat in great condition with brand new two-tone red covers, let me know! i am in Socal.

thanks

To mount the bucket seats you'll need the Bucket Seat Brackets and weld them to the floor. Ground Up (our sponsor) has them part# ICC-001 for $22.95 As far as finding seats go, the buckets out of 64-65 Pontiacs, Corvairs, Chevelles and probably other A body GM cars such as Olds F85s, and Buicks will work. You'll have to recover them for the correct pattern, but the frames are the same.

Thanks very much! I ordered the brackets today. i also found two 65 chevelle bucket seats! They have the springs, tracks and the foam pads installed. Are there any other parts needed? do i need to get anything else besides the chrome trim/ is there and plastic or cardboard for the seat backs, etc.? if so, where can I fine that stuff? i tried danchuck, year one and npd.

thanks very much!
