How in the hell? I just got a new lock set and I am trying to get the Ignition Switch out. I have the proper bezel tool, and I see the little keyway hole, BUT I can't get it out. What's the trick?

usually you have to turn the switch to accessory or to the on position to line up the keyway and use a paperclip or similar item to push into the hole to remove the tumbler unit. If you don't have a key you will have to force the tumbler out or drill it. Once the tumbler is removed you should be able to screw off the bezel.

I found that a very small allen wrench works better than the paper clip as it tends to bend. With the key, turn to the ACC position and insert the allen wrench. Press hard and turn the key counter clockwise past the ACC position. It should turn a bit further and then you can pull the whole cylinder out.
