: Aftermarket Insullation?

I started looking for the build sheet in my 1969 SS 396 and have removed a significant amount of the interior. I decided to take the rest of it out, rust proof the floor pans and replace the rugs (really needed) and insullation. A friend of mine tells me that he thinks that he remembers seeing an inproved after market insullation that is silver. It is supposed to help to keep some of the heat out of the interior. Does anyone know of this type of insullation? If so, is it worthwhile, and where can it be purchased?

There are a couple of different aftermarket isulations avialable. One is Dynomat, which is more of a heat barrier, another is more like insulation avialable with a aluminum foil like substance on either one or both sides. I forgot the name but may be able to get it tomorrow.
