I bought a car that came with two extra bench seats the guy said one is a 68 the other is a 72, the 68 seat has no head rests and three buttons across each back. if any one has some pics of there's I would appreciate them also any other interior shots would be nice, thanks

Not sure if you're looking for ideas or trying to identify the 68 seats but I'll post one of my interror (http://home.hot.rr.com/importtech/chevelle/newpics/DSC00001.jpg) and one that
has whats left of the original seat back. (http://home.hot.rr.com/importtech/chevelle/newpics/68seats.jpg) As I remember it did have 3 buttons across the back. Hard to make out in the photo. Hope this is helpful.

I did all the interior work and made all the seat covers, door panels etc. I used to do upholstery work before I got into the automotive field and still have all my equiptment. The interior was trashed in my car so it was alot of work to get it where it is now. Thanks for the thumbs up.

Ed, here's a pic of my seats.

I used PUI upholstery from Ground Up Restorations. Ken told me that the repro buttons were too large to appear original, so I re-used the original buttons and it came out very nice.
Any upholstery shop should have the right size buttons if you need 'em. I notice a few upholstery shops every week when I pass through Belle Chasse.

The correct buttons are size #22 if you need to have them made. I can make them for you if you cant find anybody locally but I don't think that should be a problem.
