I was curious how these things were fastened to the panel, I didn't see anything on the back holding them on. How did you get them on the new panels?

I bought a set of Repros from Ground-Up and they had two threaded prongs which bolted from the back side

The medallions that I have removed from old panels were held in place by a thin push-on nut, like a Tinnerman nut.

from what I remember the "SS" or "malibu" door panel badge was as described above, but the single chrome "slash" was just glued on. I dont remember any studs on those.

I to had the stick on ones from the factory, I ended up buying new door panels and had to poke two small holes to get the shafts through, and then used the two small metal retainers to hold them in place.
