Thinking ahead here, is there a method to give Chevelle glass a darker tint other than using stick-on sheets of vinyl tint material? Thanks!

Stay away from the at-home stuff you get at Wal-mart. It ends up turning a shade of purple after about 2 years. (not garage kept of course)

I assume it would cost a fortune to get smoked glass.

I think a professional job would work great for you. They use higher quality stuff.
