A quick question, how many headliner bows should a 66 Chevelle hardtop have? I have four bows but is there a bow in the center that would tuck under a row of pointed metal "clips"?

Rick. Off of the top of my head I would say you are correct. I can check tonight. You might count the hooks on the middle front to rear brace, or the sets (of 3) small holes on each side rail. Each bow has it's own hook and little holes. Hope this helps.

I just did mine last week (67 chevelle). The center bow is a piece of wire about the diameter of a coat hanger. It is supported by bending the metal spurs up; make sure your headliner is centered good frist. The ends of the wire get tucked down in a small opening between the center roof support and the side support. That opening will be inline with the groove the wire sets in after you bend the spurs up. Good Luck.
