I purchased some repro medallions for my door panels from Muscle Car Factory. They don't have any suggestions for installing them. I am considering the 3M weatherstipping glue or contact cement. Any suggestions or tips? I am at the point of installing them and I am trying to find the best method. The old factory ones were on rock solid and I would love to have the same results.

You are right on target with the 3M weather strip adhesive. Just make sure you use the black stuff. I tried several other types of glue in the past, none of them worked well for long. rb6667

I used the Loctite 454 on my 67 Elky medallions over three years ago. They are still tight.
