I am going to replace the two vent balls in my dash of my 69 SS. Do they just pull out??? I'm really not sure. I know mine can be pulled out now but I don't know if thats how its supposed to be. Thanks.

Yup, they should pull out. Be careful not to mess up the felt strips in contact with the balls when you put them back in. The felt strips are what "hold" the ball in position. When you pull the ballout, you should be able to see the felts just inside the housing.
