You can certainly try, but most likely (99.99% certain), it will appear to have stuck, only to come apart after it has been installed. You need to either replace the part in question or have it "welded" if possible.

thanks dan i tryed fiberglass it did what you said :( but i found a product called por 15 it worked like magic tough as nails thanks for your help graemlins/beers.gif phil
