Hi everyone! I'm concerned with conversion problem.I have '72 Standard El Camino, which I plan to upgrade with Power Windows and Locks.I would like to know the exact location factory intended for those knobs. My Assembly Manual (for '72 Chevelle/MC/El Camino)doesn't show this.
So where I can find good pictures of locations. Also Remote control mirror "joystick" is looking for its place! Any help would be greatly appreciated! smile.gif

You might pull you door panel and check the back of it for factory perferations to locate these options.

Thanks for info, but I'm afraid that I do not have these "factory preferations" in my door panels, because I have those Standard door panels. You could't order Power Windows or Locks on Standard model...

Why not locate them in the same place your current manual crank is? I don't think replacement panels come with holes for the window cranks precut and since you'd probably want to change the panels anyway to remove the current hole left by the manual crank, voila!

Oh yeah, ofcourse! I had thought about that. Still there is a question about Power Lock switch & Remote mirror location. I have about 30 Muscle Car Review magazines and I looked at GM "A" body interior photos very carefully, but I wish I had EXACT locations!
