I've got a '66 and it appears to be a totally untouched car in every way. But I've noticed on the inside rear A-pillers, the car doesn't have those "sail panels". Which seemed strange to me because all the other 66's I've seen, do have them. But on mine, the headliner just continues down there. Is it possible that someone changed this? Or did some come this way. It seems to me that it would be alot easier to do a headliner using them, then without.

66's received two different type headliners depending on when built.. a regular sail panel type that most of us are used to seeing and another one that uses what are called "EAR MUFF" style... with small panels that attach around the rear window on each side.

Would anyone happen to have a picture of this "ear muff" style?
I'll try to get a pic of mine when I get a chance.
Thanks for the info, graemlins/thumbsup.gif .
