I just painted my 66, installed new seals and window fuzzys. I now have door water leaks. The water runs downb the outside of the door glass then is comming down the inside of the door and running behind the door panel onto the carpet. I have rain paper behind the door panel. Anyone else have this problem? What do I do now?
Thanks

Are you telling me you actually let your Chevelle get wet? :D
Check the drain holes in the bottom of the door and make sure they are not pluged up. Other than that I don't know what else to suggest.

Yes it does get wet once in a while. We do a lot of long cruises and it does rain here in Michigan. The drain holes are open and the water comes out them, but as it travels down the inside of the door it splashes on the rain paper and down the inside of the door behind the panel.
There is a flap at the bottom of the water shield that should go into the slot at the bottom of the inside of the door, so the water is directed to the drain hole in the bottom of the door.

I will have to go look at that. I think what you are saying is that the paper should go into the slot that goes across the door about a few inches from the bottom. That would return the water inside the door and to the drain holes.

You may have a vent window leak causing your problem. Water on the windows drips straight down to the bottom of the door where it runs out the drain holes. I don't think the paper should even get wet when it is dripping. Just my thoughts on it.
