When removing the dash pad on a 66, do you have to loosen the entire dashboard panel or is there an easier route? It is "clipped in"/attached around the speaker and I don't want to crack the pad by forcing it. Thanks for the help guys!

It is held on by studs/nuts underneath (8-10), and the front lip...
If you get all the nuts off, you can just take all the screws out, sometimes you can just loosen the screws without removing them completely (maybe loosen the bottom bolts too-ends and at steering column support). The front material will get tucked in there by all those screws (above the ignition key, etc...)but removing the entire dash shouldn't be necessary...
No clips, etc by the speaker or anywhere else...
