I have a headliner seam opening up in my '69. Is it possable to repair, or do you think the repair will do more damage than good? The headliner is in good condition otherwise.

Just my opinion, but I think you would need to remove the headliner to really sew it correctly and the other seems have the same old wore out threads. So I would just have it replaced with a new one. RichF

my wife sewn mine up with needle an thread,looked good, has lasted a couple of years

you can tell a (hand sew) stitch
from a (sewing machine sew) stitch
EVERY TIME
if you want it to look like
nothing ever happened, GET A REPLACEMENT.

Thanx guys, I guess I will take a stab at sewing it, but I will prob end up replacing it graemlins/thumbsup.gif
