I know this ia a Chevelle only site but I know you folks are into all kinds of old Chevy's. I am just wondering if anyone knows of a site similar to this for 55-6-7 chevys. I have begun work on a 56 210 and would love to find a site such as this for help. I appreciate all the great help you guys offer for Chevelles (I still have a SS Chevelle and a El Camino). Thanks alot.

Can't help with a site, but if you need help with almost any kind of questions on these fine cars, mechanicals, electrals, etc., I started bustin' knuckles on a few of them. Let me know if you need help.

Thanks for the offer. I'm sure I'll be asking you some questions this winter. I'm just getting the garage cleaned out and finding books and information right now. Thanks for the support. RichF

Don't know of an on-line site but my neighbor is restoring a 57. Thru the organization that he joined he has a very detailed guide covering step by step instructions and information on restoring his 57. I'll get more info from him this weekend and post it for you.

The site for Shoe Box cars is http://www.classicchevy.com/
I got this from my neighbor. He said their site is nowhere near as good as ours. You can post questions and get answers but nothing is archived. He belongs to the Classic Chevy Club and bought his restoration guide from them. Good luck.

Thanks for the help. I have seen them in my web search and you're right, none are anything like this site. Luckily alot of the mechanical stuff like engines and trannies are the same as chevelles so this is still alot of help but it would be nice to have access to people who have allready done what I am trying to do and know where to find things. I guess this site is a one and only. I suppose I will find a local chevy classics club and check them out. RichF.
