I own a 70 Malibu that has a 71 350 in it. It still has the stock 2 bbl carb and manifold on it. I picked up an Edelbrock Performer intake and Quadrajet off a friend. The Quadrajet decodes as a 68, I think(7028213 DY). I also bought a Carter fuel pump from Summit that I want to put on plus a fuel line for a 71 Chevelle with a 350 from Year One.
Now, my question is: where do I get the adapters so that the fittings on the fuel line connect to the new fuel pump and carb?
Thanks in advance.

whee,
Your local speed shop should be able to help you with the fittings.

D'oh. I can't believe I overlooked that. This forum is such a great wealth of knowledge that it has become my #1 resource.
Thank you.

Try your local hardware store. Most have a large supply of fittings.

i hope you've done better than me, i've hit all the hardware stores, speed shops, and spent mucho $$ shipping back and forth to summit and still can't get the right fittings.
Well, I had intentions on picking up a junk Q-jet at a swap meet for cheap, but my buddy told me he has one laying around his garage somewhere. I was digging around in my junk and found a fitting to connect the fuel line to the fuel pump. I still don't have the fuel inlet nut to connect it to the carb. I'll probably still look for a $5-10(yeah, I've seen them this cheap) Q-jet in September when I go to the Springfield, OH swap meet and if I find anything, I'll get back to ya.
Until then, Good luck!
