What is the easiest and cheapest way to convert from a very leaky power steering system to manual steering. The car will only be driven on weekends and at the track. It also has 4" wide front wheels so power assist is not really necessary.

Try to find one in the salvage yard. Don't know what year you have , but I bet one will be easy to find. I saw one last week.

yes, hit the salvage yard. look for a non-leaker.I have done the same swap,love It.I replaced the rag joint,shaft seal,and oil.good luck.hopefully the pitman shaft seal will be good on the one ya find. 67rat member #199
