I searched for nearly a year to find original style eyebrow mounting studs for my 66. They are apparently quite rare (can you say hen's teeth?).
I finally found an alternative at my local PepBoys. The 3/32 x 3/4" studs with a football shaped plate and a single spring wire attached to one end work just fine for a driver car.
I only paid about $5 for 8 (enough for both sides).
Oddly enough, they are called "chrome trim mounting studs"! graemlins/clonk.gif
