Recently swapped out my PG for a Turbo 350 in my 67. Got several suggestions on how to adapt the linkage on my column shift car but I just happened to stumble on the perfect solution. Was under my 71 Elky doing something and happened to notice the linkage and wondered if it would work on my 67. Found an old linkage off a 72 Chevelle with column shift and T350 and it went right in my 67. All I had to do is drill out the hole a little on the bracket thats bolted to the frame. You probably could use the bracket off the donor car for that matter but I didn't have that. Put the tranny in 1st gear and tighten up the shift selector rod and that way you can get all the gears. I believe any column shift with T350 between 69-72 will work.
Whats so cool is that its all GM and original looking. It beats spending a lot of money converting it cable shift or jury rigging something.
