Hi, I am looking for suggestions on the best/easiest way to clean small batches of hardware i.e. so I don't get what I have bagged & tagged mixed up. Has anyone used the vibratory tumbler from Eastwood or any ideas on somthing I can get from a rental co.

Soak them in carb cleaner or Prep-Sol metal prep or equivalent over night. Both do a very good job. Prep-Sol will acid etch the fasteners and clean them very well. If only left overnight, no harm will come to them. If you forget them however.............................

I used a vibratory tumber, I bought it from a reloading supplier off the internet $40.00 Reloaders use them for cleaning rifle and pistol brass. I bought about $20 worth of black silicon carbide from the local rock shop. An hour or two in the tumbler and the parts are like new. Degrease them first.
