Has anyone used the vibratory tumbler from Eastwood or any ideas on somthing I can get from a rental co. Rick_Nelson Mar 18th, 02, 1:36 PM Soak them in carb cleaner or Prep-Sol metal prep or equivalent over night. Both do a very good job. Prep-Sol will acid etch the fasteners and clean them very well. If only left overnight, no harm will come to them. If you forget them however............................. ------------------ ACES #5032 TC #1074 smithyjc Mar 18th, 02, 6:45 PM I used a vibratory tumber, I bought it from a reloading supplier off the internet $40.00 Reloaders use them for cleaning rifle and pistol brass. I bought about $20 worth of black silicon carbide from the local rock shop. An hour or two in the tumbler and the parts are like new.
