streetk14 Oct 25th, 99, 8:49 PM I have a 68 with the stock 8.2" 10 bolt. I also have a 70 monte carlo 10 bolt posi rearend, and would like to swap all of the internal parts into my other rear. My only question is: how do I tell if it's an 8.2 or an 8.5? I know that the 2 sizes aren't interchangable. They made the 8.2 and 8.5 in 70, so I am stumped. By the way, it is a factory posi rear with 3.42 gears. If you already have one, and the housing is good, just bolt it in. It's only 6 bolts. | ||
