OK, I know this sounds dumb, but I really don't know. We're working on a '71. In the trunk, the pan turns up on the sides and has a kind of flat lip that turns out toward the fenders. There is nothing above that - you can see the inside of the fenders. There appear to be two holes in the flat lip part, leading me to believe that there should be something there. Is there supposed to be a piece there? Thanks!

If I picture this right, no there is nothing more there. The outside fenders are open on the inside of the trunk. Have to be very careful how you haul stuff back there. tom

that's it and remember "don't haul a floor jack unless it's tied down!!!!" or you will have a dent outward when you turn a corner like me http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif
